Professional Comedians and Corporate Comedy
While the Laugh Resort is a not-for-profit organization, a lot of the performers involved are professional. It’s what they do for a day job. Many of them perform at other venues, such as:

• Comedy Lounge at The Hyde Park Hotel
• "First Friday of the Month Comedy Show," at The Fremantle Hotel
• Lazy Susan's Comedy Den, at the Brisbane Hotel
• various events that pop up from time to time

They also perform lots of private or corporate gigs.

Perth comedians can be found all round the state doing tours, working as actors, entertaining children as clowns and jugglers, writing for television, or just doing stand-up comedy through booking agencies.
